Frequently asked questions
We do material contracts and labour-only contracts. Does it handle both?
Material and turnkey contracts are set up as contractor projects, where materials and labour are your cost. Labour work you give out is handled through subcontractor contracts and bills.
Can the site supervisor use it without training in accounts?
Yes. The site team records attendance, material received, petty cash and progress on the Android app. The accounting entries are made for them.
How do I see if a project is making money?
Every bill, payment and expense is tagged to a project, so the project P&L shows revenue billed against the cost of material, labour and subcontractors.
Do all my projects share one set of books?
Yes. For contractor projects the firm keeps one company book; each project is a separate cost centre inside it.
