Sampraxis Project Management

The site, the money and the proof, in one app

Sampraxis Project Management runs a construction project from the approved estimate to handover for Indian contractors, PMC consultants and builders: daily progress from site, labour and quality records, materials and GRN, measurement and subcontract claims, client RA bills, GST, TDS, accounts and earned value. Every module shares one project record, and a layer on top shows how much of the reported progress is actually proven.

Launching soon: in private beta; early-access firms get it first.

Everything a project needs, by the work it covers

59 capabilities in 20 families, switched on per company and per project. A one-person contractor sees a cashbook and a site diary; a builder sees the full chain. Nothing is ever removed, and the money controls are on for everyone.

How the modules connect

Most construction software stores records side by side. In Sampraxis, one entry moves the next step along, and the later steps never quietly rewrite the earlier ones:

  1. Quantities from drawings, priced through rate analysis into a working estimate, frozen as an approved baseline and allocated to tasks.
  2. Tasks are planned with dependencies and made ready; the daily progress report records work done against each one.
  3. Material indents go out for quotation; the chosen quotation becomes a purchase order; the GRN at the gate adds to stock and backs the vendor bill.
  4. Site quantities go into the Measurement Book with their dimensions and drawing references.
  5. Work is submitted for completion with its evidence, accepted technically, and reviewed by the project manager for billing.
  6. Subcontractor claims draw only on certified measurement; client RA bills carry works-contract GST.
  7. Every bill, receipt and payment posts its own journal; GST and TDS registers and returns follow.
  8. The client sees what is verified, in the portal and in the Progress Confidence Report.

11 roles, two layers of permission

Buttons a role cannot use are hidden, and the server refuses the same action if it is reached another way. Nobody approves their own submission; a solo operator gets flag-and-log, a team gets an enforced maker and checker split.

Super adminOwns the company account, settings, team and the final say on approvals.
PMC adminRuns PMC projects as custodian of the client’s money and certifies work.
Project managerPlans, approves daily reports, reviews completion and claims, owns exceptions.
Site supervisorRecords the daily report, attendance, curing and site photos; cannot approve their own work.
AccountantBills, payments, journals, GST and TDS; finance writer, never a certifier of work.
Store keeperMaterials, receipts and issues; no approval authority.
Structural, architect and MEP consultantsDrawings, queries and acceptance of assigned work in their discipline; no cost figures.
Chartered accountantRead-only compliance view: GST and TDS filing status across client organisations.
Viewer (client)The client portal: progress, bills, approvals and messages.

Reported progress is not trusted progress

Six facts stay apart: reported, measured, accepted, certified, billed and paid. Site measurement never rewrites the drawing quantity, a daily report never certifies completion, and quality acceptance never authorises payment. Each step has its own owner and its own evidence, and none quietly promotes the next.

Green

Required proof is applicable, available, fresh, aligned and passed.

Amber

Progress exists, but proof, variance, a decision or freshness needs action.

Red

A deterministic failure, blocker, rejection, over-use or unresolved NCR.

Not evaluable

Required truth is unavailable or unproven. Missing evidence is never shown as green.

Not applicable

The project’s approved profile does not require this source.

What a work package is checked against

  • Tasks and the approved baseline
  • Daily progress reports, labour and materials
  • Measurement Book entries
  • Photos
  • Quality inspections, cube and soil tests
  • Curing entries and daily logs
  • Drawings, revisions and the drawing register
  • RFI / RFC / TQ queries
  • Task approval gates
  • GRNs, purchase orders and difference notices
  • Earned value and variance

AI cites. It never decides.

The Copilot answers with its sources, their date and the rule version it used. It cannot approve a drawing, certify work, release a task, create a deduction, post accounts or pay anyone. Those stay with the people allowed to do them.

Status of this layer: engineered, tested and installed in production, dormant. It is activated per project and per rule, from observe to advisory to approval-assist to enforced, after qualification.

Built for how your firm runs projects

Sampraxis Project Management runs in the browser on a laptop and on Android phones for site teams. It connects to Sampraxis CAD, where the quantities can come from the building model (in development).
