A BOQ built from measurements and rate analysis
The BOQ is the backbone of the project: it sets what will be billed to the client and what has to be bought. In Sampraxis, BOQ quantities come from recorded measurements, and rates can come from rate analysis — the materials, labour and machinery that go into one unit of each item.
- Record measurements item by item and let the quantities roll up into the BOQ.
- Use standard rate-analysis coefficients or project-specific ones.
- Import BOQ rates rather than typing a long schedule by hand.
- Link materials to BOQ tasks, so planned material quantities follow the work.
From site indent to request for quotation
Purchasing starts at site. An approved indent — what the site needs and by when — becomes a request for quotation with a list of vendors. As quotations arrive, your team enters each vendor's rates against the same items.
Quotation comparison with L1 marked
The quotation comparison lays every vendor's rate side by side, item by item, with totals. The lowest rate is marked as L1 so it stands out, but price is only one input: delivery time, payment terms and past performance still matter, and the final choice is yours.
Purchase order in one step
Selecting a quotation creates the purchase order from it — vendor, items, quantities and rates carried across — and marks the other quotations as not selected. The PO can be sent as a PDF, advances can be paid against it, and the GRN at site is recorded against it. See material management for what happens after the PO.
