One drawing register per project
Drawings arrive by email, WhatsApp and pen drive from the architect, the structural consultant and the MEP consultant. Construction drawing management starts with putting them in one place. Each project in Sampraxis has a register grouped by discipline: architectural, structural, MEP, electrical, plumbing and interior.
Know which drawings are still to come
A drawing register is also a list of what you are waiting for. Plan the drawings a project needs, and the register shows how many are planned, issued, pending and overdue — useful when a consultant's late drawing is holding up work.
Revisions and superseded drawings
Pouring a slab from an old reinforcement drawing is an expensive mistake. When a revision is issued, the new drawing becomes current and the earlier one is marked superseded — still there for reference, but never mistaken for the one to build from.
On site, on the phone
Site engineers and supervisors open the register in the Android app. PDF and image drawings open directly; DWG files are kept in the same register for the office. Pair the drawings with the schedule so the right sheet is at hand for the task being built.
